Cook Book Barage

Whew......... I am finally done with all the cook books for another co-worker.  His mother passed this summer and his wife came across all her old hand written recipes, They asked me to make a cookbook (or 15) out of the favorite 20. This has been an enormous amount of work. But now that they are all done I am happy with how they turned out. I hope they are too.
After this many I think I know most of them by heart.
all 15 done and ready to delivery

boxer Rescue Project

Whew, I am finally finished with the Boxer Rescue Project. My Co-workers wife loved them and ended up keeping one set for herself.  The silent auction is next Sunday and they are going to let me know how much money we make for the organization.
The Hex box or Gazebo boxes are they are called in my house are cut by hand using the pattern in the post below.
I cut the sleigh from Winter Woodlands and 6" and hand cut the box to create a 4x6 box.
The front and back panels where 4 " pieces of paper that I curved around the front and back to make the sleigh look more realistic and not so "boxy"
The cards where cut using George and A Childs Year. They are luminary cards. Battery op candles are placed inside and they glow through the vellum.

Hexagon (Gazebo) box Template

Sorry about the delay in getting the template for the Hexagon Box (or as it is called in my house The Gazebo Box) I was hoping to get a video done over Thanksgiving but just did not get to it due to several large projects that came up at the last minute.
Again I would like to acknowledge that I go the inspiration for this box from Sarah Youde.  Please click on the link below and watch her video. Top can be a little tricky the first time and this will help.

sorry about the long delay in posting

Sorry I have not posted anything in a while. It has been very busy around my house lately. Plus my computer crashed and I have been trying to rescue files and recreate DS files I lost.
I am almost finished with the cards for the Boxer Rescue and will be posting them this weekend

Boxer Ornaments

Hello,
I thought I would do a quick post of some ornaments I am making for one of the guys I work with is involved with a Boxer Rescue group. He asked me come up with something with no real direction. I am making four of these and a couple of sets of luminary cards as well. I will post a pic of the cards when I get them done. This may not be the final box that they are in as this is one I had already finished and left over from another project.
Thanks for looking

My E2 came today

The E2 that I won in the banner contest came via FedEx today. I had it shipped to my work as the weather here changes so much this time of year I did not want to take a chance of it getting rained on. (it rained all day today so good choice).
However when it came at work I wanted to go home and jokingly told my boss I was suddenly sick. He said I could go home but since I was soooooo ill that I could not work it would be a good idea for me to leave my "New Toy" in my office as carrying it to my car might put too much of a strain on me. Needless to say I stayed until 5.
Anyway here are pics of me opening the E2.

Mom's machine that she won in the banner contest came today as well. We are both so excited to play with them.

All unwrapped and turned on. I love it
One more Big Thank you to Provo Craft for the chance to enter the banner contest and for choosing both mine and Mom's banners as winners

3D Sneaker Box

Here is a 3D sneaker box that I made. I worked out the pattern on Design Studio last night, My brain comes up the these ideas and the most inconvenient times (like 11:30 at night when I go to lay down in bed) Anyway I cut it out and assembled it this morning. It needs a little tweaking to clean up the assembly but overall I am very please how it came together. I got the idea because Mom is always the High Heel Shoes with boxes in the heels and I thought why not make a paper sneaker.
I used the High tops from Paisley and various shapes from George.

Thanks for Looking.
